Installation tips – cylinder seal kits

RE37166 – Seal kit (4.0 x 1.500)

RE36976 – Seal kit (4.5 x 1.625)

RE38442 – Seal kit (5.0 x 1.75)

Use the following procedure for installing new seal kits:

1.      Polish lead-in chamfer on the rod with 220 grit paper.

2.      Clean rod of grit.

3.      Replace the wiper and seal.

4.      Lubricate seal and rod with oil prior to assembly.
